Review by Rena 17/12/2021Our first Midea product was their dehumidifier, which is excellent with the built-in pump and smart features. Our washer died so we thought we'd try a Midea washer and got this one. We've had no issues with it whatsoever and it outperforms all previous washers we've had including Whirlpool, Maytag and GE. First thing is this washer is enormous, which we love and it has a very large washing capacity. If you are on the the shorter side, you might want to either get a step-stool or look into a front-loader however. The installation instructions were good on leveling, with filling with water and then leveling the feet before running, which helps with the life of the machine. Many washers don't have any great leveling options and you are just winging it. The many wash cycles and options are great, along with the My Wash button, where you can save a wash cycle and easy recall it with one push. We also really like that it has a clean cycle that you use bleach with to clean the washer, which is great since many washers don't have this cycle, and you end up running cycles with Affresh or other cleaning products, which are more costly. We've only used the medium spin-out option with everything washed so far, and with large loads of towels and sheets/blankets, it has worked great, with the laundry ending up much drier than our previous washers, making drying a lot quicker. I saw another reviewer commented on it tumbling clothes before filling with water. Ours does this too, but I don't see an issue with it. I assume it's by design to spin back and forth a bit before adding water to help balance the load. Not a big deal Karen.
